A non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and protection of natural land values in the Nanaimo area, NALT has, in the past, purchased large areas of the Linley Valley and Mt. Benson to preserve as park lands. NALT is also actively engaged in restoring the health of urban creeks and fish populations in local creeks.
